CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
A non-refundable $25 deposit will be charged at the time of booking for all reservations and will be deducted from the balance owing when the payment of the remaining balance is due.
In the event a reservation is cancelled by a Guest, refunds will be issued as follows:
Notice received 8 (eight) or more days prior to the arrival date will not result in the outstanding balance of the reservation applied to the Guest’s credit card. The Nakusp Hot Springs will retain the $25.00 deposit charged at the time of booking.
Notice received between seven (7) and four (4) days prior to the arrival date entitles the Guest to receive a 50% refund.
Notice received three (3) days or less of the arrival date is not entitled to a refund of any kind; this includes when a Guest does not show up for their reservation.
In the event of adverse weather conditions negatively impacting a Guest’s stay, impacts a Guest’s ability to reach the Nakusp Hot Springs, or results in a power outage, the above cancellation policy conditions apply. It is the Guest’s responsibility to acquire trip or travel cancellation insurance through their chosen provider.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Reservations: Bookings are guaranteed upon receiving a valid credit card and full payment.
Deposit: A $25 non-refundable deposit is charged upon booking. The remainder due will be automatically charged to the credit card on file seven (7) days prior to the reservation date.

Payment: Nakusp Hot Springs accepts MasterCard, Visa, cash, and Interac as payment forms. A credit card is required for a $200 pre-authorization for reservations; if a debit card or cash is used, you will need to come in person to get it refunded. A valid credit card should be used to make a reservation to avoid delays on refunding cancellations. All accommodation rates are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to a 13% tax/surcharge.
Pet Policy: This policy is for dogs; other pet types may be permitted upon approval prior to booking and may be subject to additional restrictions. Pets cost an additional $30.00/dog per night and we do not provide dog bedding. There is a maximum of 2 dogs per room, no size restrictions. Pets are not allowed in Chalet 1, but they are allowed in the other Chalets. Pets are not to be left unattended in rooms. Any disturbances, such as barking, should be curtailed by owners. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet(s), including poop
pick-up. Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
Housekeeping, Linens, and Dishes: Daily housekeeping is not provided. Each unit will be equipped with adequate linens and towels for each stay.
Soiled Rooms and Beds: Guests of rooms which are damaged or soiled (such as beds) will be subject to a charge to your credit card, depending on the severity of the issue. This includes broken items, excess mud, bike grease, urine and pet hair.
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in the Chalets, and we kindly ask that Guests do not smoke on the Chalet porches. Cigarette butts should be disposed of in the fire ring on the Chalet lawn, or in the metal garbage bin located between Chalet 1 & 2. Please do not place butts or ashes in the Chalet wastebaskets; this is a fire hazard and the smell will permeate the rooms. We appreciate your assistance and understanding.
